The journal Fourrages





Presentation
Fourrages is published by the AFPF, a journal issued every 3 months, 
dealing with studies and research work on grassland, forage crops, 
forage resources and their utilization.

FOURRAGES accepts contribution from French and foreign authors,
which may appear under various forms : syntheses or bibliographic studies,
 scientific or technical communications, original points of view and
 opinions. The papers are published in French, with an English translation
 of the legends of tables and figures and of the summary. The subjects 
dealt with come under the following headings :

1. Organization of the production : development, economy, statistics, agricultural policy
2. Forage systems ; relationships with the livestock-rearing and the farming systems
3. Utilization and profitability of the forage resources
4. Forage production : agronomy, production factors and constraints
5. Breeding : species and cultivars ; pasture establishment
6. Involvement of environment
7. Applications and development : points of view and problems
8. Forage news ; life of the society

may be loaded on the site (.pdf files), but free access is possible
only to papers published before 3 complete years. ) Those of a more recent date are available to subscribers only,
with an upper limit of 15 loadings per year, and under an identifying number.
